Damon Moore, MA, TLLP

Hey, I’m Damon. Unlike many therapists who give some trite advice for things they never experienced, I have dealt with many of your same challenges, but I learned to overcome them with the right guides. I'll help guide you into the same joy and freedom that I've found.  The things that inspire me therapeutically are Movement, Education, Story, and Spirituality. I earned my Bachelor degree in Theatre, my Master of Arts in School and Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University and my Teaching Certificate from Schoolcraft College. While I had many healing interactions during my time working in education as a high school teacher (English, Social Studies and Life Skills), a school psychologist, and interventionist, my real therapeutic start was in leading men’s community groups discussing how to heal both our own personal inner worlds and the outer world around us. I focus on building our therapeutic relationship so that you feel seen, heard, valued and empowered. Whether you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship conflict, parenting confusion, or trauma I can help guide you into tangible courses of action with the self care tools and the habits you need to thrive.
