Ronald Boardway, Ph.D.
Dr. Ronald Boardway is a graduate of Hope College and earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in
1994. He completed his internship at Henry Ford Hospital with a specialization in working with children and adolescents. Since that
time he has been in private practice with a primary office location in St. Clair Shores and a secondary location in Northville. He has
previously taught in the Wayne State Graduate School of Education and holds an adjunct staff appointment at St. John’s Hospital. Areas
of interest include child, adolescent and family therapy dealing with issues of depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, and parenting
tools; psychological evaluations for ADHD
(child and adult), learning disabilities and developmental disorders; Christian counseling;
and, adult therapy with a special interest in men’s issues.


Jeffrey DeGroat, Ph.D.
Dr. Jeffrey DeGroat earned his Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University in 1997, Master’s Degree from the University of
Detroit Mercy in 2001 and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2004.  He completed his clinical practicum through the Oakland
County Circuit Court – Family Division in 2001, evaluating and treating juveniles and families within the legal system.  In 2003, Dr.
DeGroat completed his clinical internship through the University Psychiatric Centers, gaining experience in the evaluation and
treatment of children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens.  Since 2001, he has practiced as an outpatient psychotherapist through a
number of facilities and clinics.  Presently, Dr. DeGroat is maintaining a private practice in two locations: St. Clair Shores and
Bloomfield Hills.  His areas of interest include infant, child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy; family psychotherapy; couples
psychotherapy; as well as psychological and psycho-educational evaluations.


Patricia Dickson, Ph.D.
Dr. Patricia Dickson is a licensed psychologist who earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan in 1981, Masters
Degree from the Center for Humanistic Studies in 1986 and Doctoratal Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Union Institute in
Cincinnati in 1996. Dr. Dickson has been in practice since 1988 in various private practice settings as well as at Detroit Riverview
Hospital in the pain management department, and the Community Care Services Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse program. Dr.
Dickson has been in private practice with Associated Psychologists since its inception in 1999. Areas of interest include marital
counseling, adolescent and adult psychotherapy with issues of substance abuse, anxiety, depression, pain management, trauma and
parenting special needs children. Dr. DIckson is also a trained EMDR therapist.


David Lujan, D.O.
Dr. Lujan is a Board Certified psychiatrist who treats children, adolescents and adults.


Andrew Maltz, Ph.D.
Dr. Maltz works with a variety of patients.


Marianna Manion,  Ph.D.
Dr. Manion has been a psychotherapist since 1988.  She earned her degrees at Wayne State University, where she was also an
adjunct instructor in child and adolescent development and educational psychology.  Dr. Manion completed a practicum at Beaumont
Hospital and a clinical internship at St. Joseph’s in Pontiac working with adult patients. Her area of interest is individual adult therapy
with cognitive behavioral orientation.  Dr. Manion sees patients with relationship and adjustment difficulties.  She also treats patients
with more persistent symptoms of depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.


Cheryl Mazzara, M.D.
Dr. Mazarra is a Board Certified psychiatrist who treats children, adolescents and adults.


Loretta Mitton, M.A.,L.L.P.
Loretta (Lori) Mitton earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and her Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology (with a
marriage and family concentration) from Wayne State University. She is a limited licensed psychologist (LLP) who has helped clients
with marital conflict, low self-esteem, depression , anxiety, eating disorders, bereavement, and substance abuse/addiction. She will
tailor her therapeutic approach to best meet each client's need. Lori specializes in couple's therapy and has a passion for healthy
marriages.


Cynthia Neal, Ph.D.
Dr. Cynthia Neal earned her Ph.D. from Wayne State University in 1982. Her specialties include parenting and relationship issues with
adolescents and adults. "If you are experiencing challenges in your parenting or in your personal or professional relationships, I can
help you learn the strategies necessary to resolve these challenges. If you struggle with anxiety or depression, I have over thirty years of
experience successfully helping those, like you, who struggle with these challenges."


Jennifer Parnell, M.A., LPC
Jennifer Parnell earned her Bachelors Degree from The University of North Carolina and her Masters Degree in Counseling from
Michigan State University.  She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Michigan as well as a Nationally Certified
Counselor.  Jennifer has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families on issues such as depression,
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, anxiety, panic attacks, behavior problems, aggression and anger control, social skills deficits,
poor self-esteem, self-harm, loss and grief, trauma, divorce, difficulties adjusting to life changes, and post-partum depression.         
She approaches therapy from a cognitive-behavioral perspective and believes in establishing a  collaborative relationship with her  
clients.  


Wendy Yost, Ph.D.
Dr. Wendy Yost completed her doctoral training at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2001. She completed a clinical internship and post-
doctoral fellowship at Henry Ford Health System within the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Department with specialized training in the
area of health psychology. Dr. Yost continued to work with in the Henry Ford system for 10 years in various roles treating adults and
families challenged by significant adjustments and chronic medical conditions. Areas of interest include psychotherapy with adults,
families,  and couples to address depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, and a special interest in chronic medical issues and pain.
Dr. Yost has also obtained certification as a cognitive therapy provider through the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.
